LAMINEER TIPS

A Wide Range of Specialized Diamonds

The Lamineer® Tips are offered in a choice of different shapes and grits for many applications unique to the reciprocating Profin® System.

They are safe-sided and do not harm soft (gingival) tissues. They are available in a wide range of color-coded diamond grit sizes, from coarse (150 microns) for gross removal of all restorative materials, to extra-fine (15 microns) for polishing.

Wolfram tungsten tips are also available for even finer polishing. This abrasive has the added advantage of not scuffing enamel.

1. Standard Spatula #LTA-(x): For gross reduction, reshaping or finishing of overhangs of all restorative materials and enamel. Color-coded grit (x) range: 150 to 15 microns.
2. Wolfram Tungsten Spatula #LTA-(36, 38 or 39): Superfine abrasive for finishing and polishing of all restorative materials and enamel. Does not scuff healthy enamel.
3. Short Spatula #LTA-S(x): Same as Spatula, but shorter and narrower with knife edge for better interproximal access. Color-coded grit (x) range: 150 to 15 microns.
4. Flexible Spatula #LTA-F(x): Flexibility allows the tip to conform to the restoration surface. Color-coded grit (x) range: 100 to 50 microns.
5. Paddle #LTA-D(x): For finishing surfaces of all restorative materials and enamel. Removes grooves and undercuts. Color-coded grit (x) range: 50 to 30 microns.
6. Saw Blade #LTA-T(x): For opening incisal and gingival embrasures. Color-coded grit (x) range: 50 and 30 microns.
7. Shoulder/Bevel Tip #LTA-C(x): For shaping precise inclines and angles of shoulder and bevels. Color-coded grit (x) range: 50 microns.
8. Concave Spatula #LTA-E(x): For extra-fine protrusive and lateral adjustments on concave surfaces. Color-coded grit (x) range: 50 microns.
