NYSTRÖM MATRIX BANDS
The Nyström Matrix Bands
The Nyström Matrix Bands are made of 0.040 mm thick stainless steel and come in packs of 12 pieces. They are especially useful in recreating gingival margins of class V restorations, where the cavity is considerably below the gum line and rubber dams are difficult or impossible to apply.
They are designed to deflect the gingiva and allow access to the cavity. This permits careful inspection of the gingival margin. This matrix also provides for a dry field of operation and helps rebuild the natural contour.
