Features of the One-Stop Dispenser
Selecting the Right Post
Surtex Titanium (TST) posts are made of pure titanium and are recommended for optimal biocompatibility with surrounding tissue.
Surtex Gold Plated (RST) posts are recommended when an economical alternative is required (e.g. in temporary crowns).
Surtex Stainless Steel (SST) posts are recommended for all retentive purposes where extra strength is required.
A clear system of size markings on the reamers makes the system easy to understand and re-ordering components simple. Read more about our reamers here.
Post size selection takes into consideration a combination of both the diameter and length of the canal, and the height of the crown. The size of the post should coincide with the selected reamer and the length should be as long as possible without the post head interfering with shape, function and esthetic properties of the finished restoration. You can confirm dimensions on the measuring gauge provided on the One-Stop Dispenser. The fit in the root canal is verified without rotating the post.
How it Works
CROSSCUT HEAD
can be expanded with the cross cut key [#NLK] to provide mechanical retention securing the core build-up.
ANATOMICAL CANAL ADAPTATION
parallel sided with a tapered apical end, minimizes the risk of root fracture.
THREADING
allows for secure retention to cements, increased surface area and easy canal reaccess if needed.
SURFACE TEXTURE
makes our posts more retentive & provides a non-reflective interface for superior esthetics.
ONE-STOP DISPENSER
allows only one section to be open at a time and features measuring gauge and ruler to confirm size.
